Yoga

No matter what your spiritual or religious beliefs are being connected mind and body are important. Thoughts govern our emotions, our emotions govern our actions, and our actions are who we are to the world. Changing our thoughts about ourselves and others help us to respond to situations that arise, instead of reacting out of an emotional place.

There are many benefits of yoga. Among them are: lower blood pressure, slower heart rate, improved blood circulation, lower respiratory rate, improved gastrointestinal and organ function, strengthened immune system, more efficient metabolism, increased flexibility and strength, and mental clarity.

With yoga you develop the strength to move forward, the courage to look inward, and the clarity to make better decisions. It is not just a sequence of asanas (postures), and pranayama (breathing techniques). It is a way of life. Your time off the mat symbolic of your time on. You learn to transform your thoughts from I can't to I can. All while being forgiving and loving with yourself and others along the way.
